Set to be the biggest distillery in England when it opens later this year, The Lakes Distillery is the lifelong dream of experienced whisky entrepreneur Paul Currie, supported by a management team of some of the best brains in the drinks, hospitality and business sectors.

Located on the edge of picturesque Bassenthwaite Lake, the distillery will be reviving an age-old tradition as well as providing a boost to the local economy. Opening in December of this year, The Lakes Distillery will boast a visitor centre with a Bistro & Bar, Tours, and a Shop, each aimed at showcasing locally-sourced Cumbrian produce.

We are looking for talented people with an enthusiasm and passion for the hospitality industry at all levels of experience. The Bistro at the Distillery is set in a comfortable and unique environment offering an informal modern dining experience to its customers. The menu will embrace the spirit of the Lake District by using regional ingredients where possible and have a real focus on flavour and simplicity.
